How to wear Red/ Burgundy

Slach is back at it again this week with a beautiful tone of RED!

You’ve seen it everywhere, in Fashion weeks, Vogue magazines, and now it’s finally in stores: the Burgundy colour is a big hit this season.

This is not a subliminal message: you gotta have at least one clothing item in this colour!

Though it is a beautiful shade of red, it is not always easy to wear, unless you’re going for a full Monochromatic look (which is a new 2017 trend as well ! 😉 ) you might need to explore other shades and layering.

Slach Tips:

1-For the sake of whatever it is that you believe in, don’t wear Burgundy with Black, you are not a Stendhal book cover.

2-Let the attention be on the outfit, no need to go with a full make up face, work on the eyes or the lips but not both.

3-It is never said too much: The fit, the FIT you guys is key, Red colour can enhance your curves, if the fit is not right it can really jeopardize the look, Red is always better when tailored.

Without further ado, here are three outfits to give you some inspiration, and what’s more beautiful than Place VendĂ´me to shoot!!

For the first look, Slach is not giving up on stripes! definitely wearing them this fall, here the burgundy large pants are highlighted with a powdery pink striped shirt and pointy flats.

It is all about exploring the light shades here, a blue light denim shirt can give you that casual look… unless you wear those Red Jimmy Choo heels. Slach likes to call this “Am I casual? Am I not ? nobody knows” look.

Slach tried one last outfit, matching the burgundy pants with a creamy white top and bicolored shoes.
