If you associate Tweed with hunting clothing for English man, or if it reminds you what so ever of your grandparents, you need to get a fashion update.
Tweed has been used in all fashion shows these last years, it became the signature of Chanel’s collection, this fabric tells a story by itself, beautiful yet complicated, it mixes colors and different lines to achieve a sophisticated look.
Slach is not fond of going all in with a total tweed outfit, so she created a look pairing tweed skirt with a T-shirt: this is the best way to be elegant without looking like you worked too hard for it.
The logo t-shirt is the actual key piece of this outfit and not the tweed skirt! The Coca-Cola T-shirt says a lot about how effortless the outfit is, why “Coca-Cola” you’d ask, “Why not!” after all, it is nicely written, the red color brings something interesting to the look and highlights the orange tones of the skirt.
Tucking in a t-shirt in a sophisticated skirt is the best way to say ” I know it is very nice but I don’t fear to ruin it with a casual white T”, especially if your t-shirt is not boring.
To complete the look Slach chose to go with studded ankle boots to avoid stumbling with high heels.
1- Elegance needs to be at ease, else it is not what you were hoping it to be.
2- Don’t wear nude stockings with your skirt. Ever.
3- If Tweed reminds you of elder people, chose Grandma Yetta’s to get your inspiration! She was a legend and a fashionista!
